MA Pharm. Anna Lotek

Graduate of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Medical University of Białystok, where she obtained her Master of Pharmacy degree in 2014. She continuously expands her knowledge and professional competencies by keeping up with the dynamic development of the pharmaceutical market and innovative therapies. She regularly participates in industry training programs, which allow her to update her knowledge and refine her skills in clinical research and the latest advancements in pharmaceutical sciences.

In 2021, she completed a postgraduate Master of Business Administration – Clinical Research in Warsaw. This program provided her with comprehensive knowledge essential for conducting and overseeing clinical trials in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) principles, taking into account legal, ethical, and organizational aspects at both national and international levels.

She has been involved in clinical research since 2021, gaining experience in Phase I, II, and III trials as well as bioequivalence studies of medicinal substances. She currently holds the position of Clinical Research Coordinator at the Hearing and Speech Center, where she is responsible for organizing, supervising, and coordinating clinical trials, ensuring their proper execution in compliance with applicable regulations.

In 2024, she began postgraduate studies in Clinical Trial Management and Monitoring at Kozminski University, further advancing her professional development and expanding her expertise in the field of clinical research.

She holds a valid Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification and has completed numerous industry training programs, including Clinical Trial Associate and IATA, which further enhance her competencies in clinical research process management.

MA Mateusz Marczak

A graduate of the University of Warsaw with a master’s degree in biology. In 2024, he joined the Clinical Research Team as a Clinical Research Specialist. His main responsibilities include coordinating Phase II and III clinical trials in the fields of otolaryngology and audiology.

Involved in clinical research since 2020, he has participated in the execution of over 20 clinical trials, including Phase I, II, and III studies, as well as bioequivalence trials. He has also taken part in an FDA (Food and Drug Administration) audit.

Committed to continuous professional development, he regularly attends training sessions and scientific conferences to stay up to date with the latest advancements in clinical research and regulations related to clinical trials and medical devices.

He holds valid GCP (Good Clinical Practice) and IATA certifications for the transport of hazardous materials, including infectious substances.

In 2024, he began postgraduate studies in Clinical Trials Management and Monitoring at Kozminski University, continuing his professional development and expanding his expertise in clinical research.

MA Pharm. Veronika Pyrzynska

A graduate of Pharmacy from the Medical University of Białystok, where she earned a Master’s degree in Pharmacy and is a member of the District Pharmaceutical Chamber in Warsaw. She completed postgraduate studies in Clinical Research Methodology at the Medical University of Warsaw, gaining specialized knowledge in the design, conduct, and monitoring of clinical trials.

She has professional experience as a pharmacist in a community pharmacy, where she continues to actively practice her profession. Additionally, she holds qualifications for administering and qualifying selected protective vaccinations, allowing her to provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients.

She has been associated with the Hearing and Speech Center since 2022, where she currently holds the position of Clinical Research and Medical Devices Specialist. In her role, she is responsible for coordinating clinical trials in phases II, III, and IV in the fields of otolaryngology and audiology, as well as overseeing the compliance of trials with applicable regulations and standards. Furthermore, she is involved in the preparation of research documentation, data management, and collaboration with research teams and sponsors. She holds a certification in Good Clinical Practice (GCP). She continuously enhances her professional qualifications by participating in training and scientific conferences to update her knowledge and stay current with new developments in pharmaceutical science, as well as legal requirements related to clinical trials and medical devices.

Magdalena Beata Skarżyńska, MD, PhD in Medical Science and PhD in Public Health Studies

She graduated from the Medical University of Warsaw, Faculty of Pharmacy, majoring in Pharmacy.
She completed her studies in 2011.
Manager of a grant in the field of phytotherapy from the Warsaw Medical University, the funds of which helped to expand the scope of the subject of her master’s thesis.
Runner up at the 2010 Young Medics Conference in the pharmacy category, also organized by WUM.
She completed postgraduate studies in Clinical Research Methodology organized by the Graduate School of Postgraduate Education at WUM and Management in the Health Sector in Krakow.
In 2016 she completed her specialization in pharmacy and in 2021 she completed her specialization in hospital pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Jagiellonian University.
Since 2015, she has been a member of the Association for Good Clinical Research Practice in Poland, and since 2017, she has been the head of the pharmacy pharmacy pharmacy specialization at the Postgraduate Training College of the Medical University of Warsaw.
In 2018, she received the title of DPharm with honors.
Author and co-author of publications and review papers in the fields of pharmacy, pharmacology and otorhinolaryngology.
Since 2019, member of the bioethics committee at the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing.

MA Iwona Tomaszewska-Hert

A graduate of Speech Therapy with Audiology at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, the Post-Secondary School of Audiology at the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing, and postgraduate studies in Clinical Research Management and Monitoring at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. A specialist in speech therapy, audiophonology, and hearing prosthetics.

She has extensive experience in conducting clinical trials of medicinal products in phases II, III, and IV, as well as clinical trials of medical devices, including innovative hearing implants. Since 2015, she has been associated with the Hearing and Speech Center, where she currently serves as the coordinator of the clinical research department, overseeing and managing comprehensive scientific research projects and clinical trials.

An active member of the Association for Good Clinical Practice in Poland and the Council of the Polish Society of Otorhinolaryngologists, Phoniatrists, and Audiologists. Her work combines interdisciplinary knowledge in audiology, laryngology, and evidence-based medicine, enabling the implementation of innovative research and development projects.

She also specializes in objective hearing tests, including Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) examinations. She leads international projects, collaborating with specialists and patients from remote regions. Actively involved in research consortia and programs, she integrates medicine with the latest technological advancements.

Martyna Turek, MA

Graduated with a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Warsaw. In 2023, completed postgraduate studies in Master of Business Administration – Clinical Trials in Warsaw, gaining comprehensive training in conducting and coordinating clinical trials in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and current legal regulations. The program combined scientific, legal, and managerial topics, focusing on effective planning of research projects, implementing innovative therapies, and registration procedures for drugs and medical devices.

In 2022, joined the Clinical Trials Team as a Coordinator. Responsible for organizing and overseeing the progress of trials, ensuring compliance with protocols, legal regulations, and the highest ethical standards. Collaborates with researchers, sponsors, and CROs, coordinating patient visits and maintaining trial documentation. Supports the recruitment of trial participants, monitors the execution of procedures according to the schedule, and prepares the site for audits and inspections, ensuring the highest quality of the projects conducted.

Holds a valid Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification. A member of the Association for Good Clinical Practice in Poland (GCPpl), regularly participating in courses, training sessions, and industry events, both online and in person. Actively engages in conferences focused on clinical trials, keeping up with the latest trends, regulatory changes, and innovative approaches to conducting research.
